The two women at the table are natives of this country. They are speaking in their native language over a short lunch when they are interrupted by a tourist. He speaks their language broken and they giggle a little, and then they offer their help. He is a student, who is backpacking through their country with his classmates, however, when he stopped to look around at a store, they all seemed to have left. Now he was lost, and he knew where he could find them because of the schedule that had been passed out earlier in the day, he just didn't know how to get there. Since the women were already done eating and were just chatting, they offered to take him there. With many thank your the student (tourist) accepts and was safely guided back to his group. He explained how he got lost to his leader and then he continued his day as was scheduled. He loved the country, and the friendliness of all of those who lived there. He liked is so much that he decided to stay for the year rather than for a semester. He ended up moving there to live, and marrying a native of that country.
